Research Notes
These research notes are nearly illegible, and obviously written by an unstable individual. After wading through pages of paranoid ramblings, you gather that they lead to a person of interest in the International District.
Scalpel
This scalpel looks truly ancient; it is coated with rust and dried blood.
Mr. P's Card
A business card with a Downtown address written on the back.
Surgical Mask
A used surgical mask. It has spots on it that look suspiciously like dried blood.
Origami Paper
Someone wrote the following on this origami paper in a bold, rough hand: "There's more to this than just the doctors. Come see me in the International District and I'll tell you more." An International District address appears on the paper below the note.
Encrypted Keyfob
The LED screen on this keychain-sized device displays an alphanumeric code that updates itself every five minutes.
Kalt Lobby Pass
This magnetic swipe-card has "Lobby Pass" and the Kalt corporate logo printed on it. The back has the address of Kalt headquarters in Kedemoth, Richland.
Mysterious Headband
A white headband made of tough material, somewhat worn and encrusted with sweat.
Clef's Business Card
This business card is tattered and worn. You can make out an address in the Slums under the name.
Special Silver Badge
This Silver Badge looks just like those carried by the members of White Security.
White Cell Phone
This cell phone is completely white, and otherwise nondescript. There is a number pre-programmed into the speed dial; the area code is for the International district, and the entry is named 'Ms. W.'
Intricate Key
This exquisitely crafted key looks very delicate. It's unclear what sort of lock a key like this might fit.
GPS Locator
This device appears to be a GPS locator, with a specific location in Downtown programmed in.
Uninspected Goggles
A pair of black night vision goggles. They do not appear to be functioning.
Mobile Tracker
A tiny device that beeps softly when pointed in a certain direction in Richland.
Merovingian's Chit
A small black tile emblazoned with the arms of the Merovingian.
Caleb's Note
A bar napkin with an International District address written on it.
Hoar Key
A heavy, weathered key used in Downtown.
Seraphic Feather
A splendid white feather.
Crucible of Affliction
An unusually heavy stainless steel box, crusted with dried blood. It gives off a mild static shock when touched. Putting your ear close to it, you hear a faint, irregular whining noise, sounding almost like a distant scream.
Thurible of Meditation
An unusually heavy, metal box inscribed with circular designs arranged in a harmonious pattern. It emits a clear metallic ringing sound and a smell of incense when struck.
Vessel of Suffering
A very heavy, black box that seems to reflect almost no light at all. The only decoration is an inscribed metal plate that reads 'Bella Sub Rosa'.
Ark of Armageddon
A beautiful, dark box with golden details. The air around it crackles with unseen power. Gazing upon it, you are overcome by feelings of beauty, sadness, and revenge.
